A really charming kickstarter video. Played a show with these guys once and have seen them on a couple of their tours. I’ve backed this campaign and can’t wait to hear the album!

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

We are Garage Voice, a three-piece rock band from Seattle, composed of a vocalist/guitarist, organist/bassist, and drummer. We’ve been diggin’ deep into the rich legacy of negro spirituals and gospel music, and we’re mixing that richness into a bumpin’ blend of beats and gritty rock n roll. 

And now, we’re making a record! With the fine n talented Kory Kruckenberg (of Seattle’s soulful Pickwick) at the mixing boards, we’re preparing to present to you the tightest, cleanest, and grittiest music we’ve ever made. 

So, you wanna make this with us? Here’s what we’re looking for. 

With an additional $12,000, we’ll be able to record, mix, master and manufacture our albums onto good ol’ fashion vinyl records and compact discs (remember those?). Not only that, your efforts will help kick off a marketing campaign so that these tunes can reach the ears of more than our lovely and lovin local music community.

Any contributions you make beyond our goal will be invested into marketing the album even more. So, once we reach our goal, we’ll be striving to strengthen our marketing.
